Our communal rooms are areas where you can get together with your friends to unwind and relax. You can use them completely free of charge anytime between 6am and midnight.
Want to bring friends along who don’t live at CODE? No problem! You are welcome to bring guests to use the facilities too, provided they are accompanied by you. No need to battle for space at uni, get together at CODE instead.
Current students: please read about the impact of current Covid restrictions on our facilities. We are hoping that for our 2021/22 residents, the vaccination programme will mean Covid restrictions will be lifted/lightened and we can return to life as normal.
Pool Tables, Football Tables and Table Tennis
Our sports tables are a great way to interact with other students. You can use them to meet new people after a hard day at uni or have friendly competitions or tournaments with your friends.
Throughout the year, we arrange several events in the communal rooms, so you can have a night on us! Keep an eye on our social media sites for dates and upcoming events.
We also offer online alternatives for those who prefer playing games with friends over their laptop or phone.
Yes that’s right, we have our very own cinema room – but we use it for a lot more than just movies.
Featuring comfy beanbag sofas with table and chairs, it’s also a place to study, eat or drink – or chill with friends in a relaxed, safe and comfortable environment.
You don’t have to miss the big game! Whatever your chosen sport…Football, Cricket, Rugby, we’ve got it covered on the big screen!
The Cinema Room can be booked by residents so you can plan your own party or ask us for a special screening of your favourite film.
We also allow residents to book out the dance/fitness studio. We find a lot of societies like to use this space for their own dance or fitness practice.
Simply visit the CODE Office to complete a booking form, then it’s all yours!
