Take a tour and explore before you decide
Even if you're only considering a new city or university at this stage, it's a good idea to do your research now and visit if you can.
At CODE you can:
- visit us in-person Monday-Saturday, 9am to 5.30pm.

Have a "Top 3"
Don't count on getting into just one uni hall.
Clearing accommodation is often allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Availability is often limited and you may have to wait for an official offer.
That's why CODE can be a great alternative. Because we are private accommodation, we can sell you a room today.
Just choose your preferred room, book online and accept your contract.
Understand your budget
One of the first questions we'll ask you, is if you have a budget in mind. The more flexible your budget, the more likely we'll be able to find you a room.

Our website shows live room availability but we always recommend contacting our friendly team in case a cancellation has been received that has not yet been processed.

If you have spoken to your chosen university and been given a verbal offer, you can book a room at CODE straightaway. There is no need to wait until you can formally accept your Clearing place.
You just need to be aware that once you have signed your tenancy agreement, you will be responsible for the room if you later change your mind.
Yes, but our advice is, unless you're choosing between Leicester and Coventry, you're better to wait until you are sure.
This is because once you sign your contract, you will be legally responsible for the room at CODE until another tenant is found.
