Outdoor Area and Herb Garden

We all need a bit of fresh air now and again. This is why we have an outdoor space at the heart of the CODE Leicester site, taking full advantage of our riverside location, without having to leave the secure building.

You can make the most of the idyllic location by relaxing with friends or getting active with the collection of free outdoor games provided.

It’s a perfect place to soak up the sun on those summer afternoons. Or a great spot to build a snowman in the winter snowy months we’ve seen some fantastic views over the years.

Seating Areas

We're lucky to have lots of seating available - sofas, sun loungers, and benches.

You can relax on the outdoor sofas with friends or be closer to nature on the benches provided along the riverside. Sit, relax, and watch the wildlife – you may even meet some of our resident ducks, swans, or squirrels.

BBQ Stations

We have BBQ stations along the riverside for you to enjoy. Make the most of the outdoor area and grab a group of friends for food and drinks in a relaxed, safe and scenic location.

Outdoor Games

As well as our indoor games room, we have several outdoor activities for you to enjoy too. Play table tennis, giant chess or swingball.

Why not use the space to practice a dance rehearsal with your society or get in some yoga in a tranquil setting?

Herb Garden

Pick your herbs for free! We offer a range of herbs such as Rosemary, Thyme, Bay, Chives, Fennel and Curry Leaf in the CODE Herb Garden. No need to go to the shops, stock up as and when you need.
