Student Lounge & Games Area | CODE Leicester

Our communal areas are where you can get together with your friends to unwind and relax. You can use them completely free of charge anytime between 6am and midnight.

We've created a spacious and modern student lounge and games area, perfect for students to meet up with friends old and new!

Want to bring friends along who don’t live at CODE? No problem! You are welcome to bring guests to use the facilities too, provided they are accompanied by you. No need to battle for space at uni, get together at CODE instead.

Pool Tables, Football Tables, and Table Tennis

Our sports tables are a great way to interact with other students. You can use them to meet new people after a hard day at uni or have friendly competitions or tournaments with your friends. They're all free!

Events

Throughout the year, we arrange several events in the communal rooms, so you can have a night on us! Keep an eye on our social media sites for dates or take a look at upcoming events here.
We also offer online alternatives for those who prefer playing games with friends over their laptop or phone.

Free games hire

If you enjoy challenging your friends, you can also take advantage of our free games hire. We have all the old favourites such as Scrabble, Cluedo, Connect 4 and Monopoly, as well as new and shorter games such as Frustration and Dobble. All you need to do is ask in the Office.

Free books

The CODE library will be stocked and you can borrow any books on the shelves from; fiction novels to guide books and well-being books to course books. All you need to do is pick one up and return when you are done.

Bookable Spaces

We allow residents to book out the dance/fitness studio. We find a lot of societies like to use this space for their own dance or fitness practice.

Simply visit the CODE Office to complete a booking form, or talk to our chat team, then it’s all yours!
