Laundry and useful amenities

We want you to love living at CODE, which is why we have all the facilities you need to make it feel like home – and a few other useful amenities to make your life easier.

On-site laundry

The on-site laundry service is run by Circuit Laundry and is open 24/7. Designed with students in mind, the Circuit Laundry app is a revolutionary and convenient new way to pay for laundry. Use PayPal or a debit/credit card to top up in seconds, no cash or top up card necessary!

Bike store

We have designated bicycle storage around the site that students can access via their key fob 24/7. Meaning you can secure your bike safely with a D lock and have the peace of mind of knowing it’s secure.

Parcel service

If you deliver your parcels to site, we’ll make sure we take them in for you. No need to travel to the nearest sorting office if you’re not home. We’ll let you know when your parcel has arrived via an email. Just bring that along with your ID to collect. Learn more about the Parcel Service.

Bins/recycling

In your room we'll give you a 50 litre bin - plus there is room under your sink to store recycling.

On our site we have separate large waste bins for general waste and mixed recycling and all you'll need to do is pop your rubbish down to the nearest bin to your block. 

We love our planet and like to encourage everyone to recycle as much as possible.

You can drop any of your old batteries, ink cartridges and mobile phones into the CODE Office and we can recycle these for you too.

Charity donations

We also offer a charity service so if you have anything you wish to donate; clothes, books, homeware etc. bring it to the CODE office, we will ensure it gets to those in need. Once a month we offer a 'drop-off' point in one of the blocks as well.

Printing

You don’t need to hurry to the library or rush to refill the ink in your printer, you can print quickly and conveniently from the CODE Office. A small charge of 10p per page for black and white and 20p per page for colour is made to cover costs.
