We’re a short walk from Leicester City Centre and offer a city-based option for University of Leicester students.
Our one-bedroom studio flats are conveniently located just off the popular Narborough Road/Braunstone Gate - which makes us a great student accommodation choice for those who like to be close to the action!

Travelling to University of Leicester
The easiest way to get to the University of Leicester is by bike. The good news is we have plenty of bike storage for you on site and your cycle is covered by our contents insurance!
Don't have your own bike? Not a problem, we have ones you can hire for free!
We are around a 30 minute walk from the campus/Victoria Park, or you can catch a bus part of the way, making the journey just over 20 minutes.
City centre living
With our student accommodation, you’re just minutes away from the bars, restaurants and take-aways of Braunstone Gate, with much of Leicester’s nightlife on your doorstep.
There’s a ‘convenience store’ (Budgens) on the corner of our street, so you can stock up on whatever essentials you need. While there’s a late-night, national supermarket (Tesco) less than five minutes’ walk.
If you venture a little further, you’ll be in the heart of Leicester, with all the choice of retail, culture and food you’d expect from a vibrant city centre.
Leicester City Football Club's King Power Stadium is a short walk across the river, with the Leicester Tigers' Welford Road stadium just over a mile away.
Leicester railway station is a two-mile car journey away, perfect for travelling home or visiting other cities.
Want to live nearer to campus?
If you'd like to be a little closer to campus, we have a few alternative flats - called our "CODE Classics" available in Lancaster Road, Welford Road and other nearby streets.
Please note, these are similar but not the same as the CODE Leicester studio flats – but are a great choice for those who want something really affordable. CODE Classic tenants still get to use the CODE Leicester facilities for FREE, including the gym and communal spaces, as well as attending our events.
Your electricity is billed monthly in a CODE Classic property and all rooms come with free wi-fi and there are laundry facilities on site.

Self-contained CODE Studio Flats over 3 floors. Ideal location for University of Leicester, Train Station and Royal Infirmary.
- Tower Street - a choice of studios starting from £105 per week
Self-contained studio flats. Prices from £105 per week depending on size. Ideal location for University of Leicester.
- Lower Hastings Street - studio flats from £105 per week
We have 2 self-contained student flats. Ideal location for University of Leicester. Other flats in the building are rented to non-students via our sister-firm Leicester Lettings.
- Welford Road - a choice of studios starting from £110 per week
We have self-contained studio flats of various sizes over 3 floors. Ideal location for De Montfort University (just 4 mins walk) – and not far from the University of Leicester. Over half the studio flats there are the same size as a Super Large Studio at CODE Leicester.
- Rydal Street - en-suite rooms for £105 per person per week
Rydal Street is a three bedroom house with shared kitchen and living room, and individual CODE bedrooms with en-suites. This is an ideal location for De Montfort University. Rydal Street is perfect for three friends who want to live together – the 3 of you will need to sign a joint contract.
