It is important that you have a chance to unwind after a hard day at university.

That's why we provide our communal area, a special space specifically designed to have both quiet zones and areas where you can get together with friends to take them on at table tennis or pool.

There are several television seating areas too, where you can catch up on the latest news or even use it for your own entertainment.

For those of you who like your own space, we also have several smaller rooms where you can gather with friends and relax in a cosier setting.

Pool Tables, Football Tables, and Table Tennis

Our sports tables are a great way to interact with other students. You can use them to meet new people after a hard day at uni or have friendly competitions or tournaments with your friends.

Events

Throughout the year, we arrange several events in the communal rooms, so you can have a night on us! Keep an eye on our social media sites for dates and upcoming events.
We also offer online alternatives for those who prefer playing games with friends over their laptop or phone.

Free games hire

If you enjoy challenging your friends, you can also take advantage of our free games hire. We have all the old favourites such as Scrabble, Cluedo, Connect 4, and Monopoly, as well as new and shorter games such as Frustration and Dobble. All you need to do is ask in the Office.

Free books

The bookshelves in our communal room are also filled with free books for you to borrow. These include fiction novels, guidebooks, and also course books. All you need to do is pick one up and return it when you are done.

We also have a selection of motivational books which you can hire for two weeks. Again, just ask in the Office.
