CODE Leicester
Our complex in Western Road is perfectly positioned:
- just 320 metres from De Montfort University campus - which makes us a great student accommodation choice. It will take you just minutes to walk to your lectures!
- We're just a 10 minute walk to Addict Dance Academy
- We’re close to Leicester City Centre and offer a city-based option for students studying at University of Leicester campuses.
Riverside location
We benefit from a more tranquil setting, with a picturesque riverside location. Many of our rooms have great views of the river and over Bede Park. Read Cerys’s views of her riverside room in her blog.
City-centre student accommodation
With our student accommodation, you’re just minutes away from the bars, restaurants and take-aways of Braunstone Gate, with much of Leicester’s nightlife on your doorstep.
If you venture a little further, you’ll be in the heart of Leicester, with all the choice of retail, culture and food you’d expect from a vibrant city centre.
Leicester City Football Club's King Power Stadium is a short walk across the river, with the Leicester Tigers' Welford Road stadium just over a mile away.
Leicester railway station is a two-mile car journey away, perfect for travelling home or visiting other cities. And you can walk there in less than 20 minutes.
Grocery stores and supermarkets
There’s a 'Budgens' convenience store on the corner of our street, so you can stock up on whatever essentials you need.
A late-night, Tescos less than five minutes’ walk in one direction, and a Lidl supermarket less than five minutes' walk in the other direction.

CODE Classics: our budget choice near De Montfort University
If you'd like to live at CODE but we've sold out of the room you want, we have a few alternative flats - called our "CODE Classics" available in Rydal Street, Welford Road and other places around Leicester.

Please note, these are similar but not the same as the CODE Leicester studio flats – but are a great choice for those who want something really affordable. CODE Classic tenants still get to use the CODE Leicester facilities for FREE, including the gym and communal spaces, as well as attending our events.
You may also be able to get a resident's parking permit for £25 per year in some CODE properties. You would need to confirm this with Leicester City Council and CODE cannot be held responsible if a permit cannot be obtained.

Your electricity is billed monthly in a CODE Classic property and all rooms come with free wi-fi and there are laundry facilities on site.
