Your safety is of utmost importance to us. That’s why we have a security team on-site 24/7. You can contact them at any time with any concerns and they are always happy to help.
The property is also only accessible with a key fob so you don’t have to worry about nasty intruders.
During office hours call the CODE office on 0116 233 5678 for all alarm activations or emergencies.
Please call CODE Security for assistance. The number will be shared with you via email and on information in your room.
Our security team patrol the site diligently, do not hesitate to contact them if you feel you need to – they are here for you.

When the office is closed we do have an emergency maintenance team but all emergency issues are relayed via our security team.

Please be aware that the fire alarms are tested at all of the CODE blocks every Wednesday between 10am - 4pm. There is no need to evacuate the building, however, should the alarm continue to sound for more than approximately 2 minutes please assume that a real fire alarm is in progress and evacuate according to our policy.
Tampering of any fire safety equipment or false call outs will incur a charge.
Our blocks have lifts to help you carry those heavy bags but should you be unfortunate enough to become stuck in a lift please press and hold the alarm button for 3 seconds, this will connect you directly to the emergency call centre, they will advise you of a response time for an engineer to attend and release you.
Please note due to Health & Safety precautions CODE staff cannot release you from the lift as this needs to be done by a qualified lift engineer.
However, do give us a call – we’ll stay in touch and help keep you calm while you wait.
In the event of fire do not use the lifts.
Here at CODE we look out for one another. If you see anything suspicious we encourage you to share it with our security team or the main office. You can act as our very own community watch.
