- You must log into your portal within 7 days to sign your contract, which we call the 'Tenancy Agreement'.
If you have someone acting as your guarantor (someone who will agree to pay for your rent if you cannot), we will ask you to nominate that person (or people). We will then send them their own login links to the Guarantor Portal. We have guidance for guarantors as well.
If you are under 18 years of age at the time of booking, you will need someone over 18 to take out the booking on your behalf. They will sign the contract, but give you the right to live in the room.

Yes of course, As we have 100's of international students that stay with us year on year. we understand that visa processing times can sometimes take longer than expected. If you’re waiting for your visa, please be assured that your room will be ready for you on the contract start date, you’re welcome to arrive any time after that date.

Yes, you're welcome to have guests stay with you for up to two weeks, and there is no need to sign guests in or out.
For the comfort and safety of all residents, guests must stay with you at all times and are not permitted to access communal areas of the building unaccompanied. This helps us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone living at CODE.
If you have any questions about having guests stay, our on-site team is always happy to help.
We understand that visa applications can be stressful, which is why we offer our No Visa, No Pay promise.
If your visa application is unsuccessful and you’re unable to start your course at a UK university, any money you’ve paid towards your contract will be fully refunded.
This applies to students starting a new course at a UK university, including Undergraduate and Postgraduate/Master’s degrees.
To request a refund, please email evidence from your university or UK Immigration by Monday 1 September 2026. Terms and conditions apply.
We understand that results day can be a stressful time, which is why we offer our Fresher’s Promise.
If you don’t meet the conditions of your university offer and no longer have a place, any money you’ve paid towards your contract will be fully refunded.
This applies to students starting undergraduate degrees (including Top-up degrees) and postgraduate/Master’s degrees.
To request a refund, please email the relevant communication from your university before Friday 21st August 2026.
