FRESHERS PROMISE
FULL REFUND IF YOU DON'T MEET YOUR UNIVERSITY OFFER
If you don't meet the conditions of your university offer and no longer have a place (for example, you don't achieve the required grades), we'll refund all payments made towards your contract*.
- This applies to undergraduate, top-up, postgraduate and Master's degrees.
- Simply send us confirmation from your university by Friday 21 August 2026.
*Please note:
You must have accepted your university offer as your Firm Choice before booking for the Fresher's Promise to apply.
The promise does not apply if your university place is withdrawn due to a breach of the university's Code of Conduct or the terms of your tenancy agreement.

We know first-year students sometimes need a little extra help adjusting – and we’re always here when you need us.
Our on-site CODE team are available every single day of the year, including weekends and holidays, 24 hours a day.
Whether it’s a maintenance issue, a question about your tenancy, or just a chat – someone is always close by to help.
With 24/7 security and CCTV throughout the site too, you can be sure you are being looked after.
4. Well-being is our priority
We take your well-being seriously.
Our office staff, security and parcel staff are all trained Mental Health First Aiders, so are qualified to check in with you and make sure you are doing okay.
If you need a little more support we can do weekly well-being (welfare) checks, whether that is a phone call, email or visit. Or we can signpost you to other mental health support.
We’re here to support you emotionally and mentally throughout your time at university.
5. Move in for Year 1 and never move out!
When your first year is up, most student accommodations will ask you to move out. Not at CODE. We encourage all of our students to stay with us for their entire time at the University of Warwick.
If you want to stay in your room for the whole 3 years (or even more!) – you can.
You can even stay over the summer if you book the same room! There’s no need to pack up and move, giving you complete flexibility and peace of mind.

We're just a 30 second walk to the bus station where you can catch a bus that goes directly to the university campus
🚍 Buses run every 7 minutes.

Yes, our website shows live availability, so you'll always know what rooms we have available. We welcome all students who have joined their university via Clearing, and in fact hundreds of 1st year students choose to live at CODE.
We actually think private halls are better for these 3 reasons:
1. Uni accommodation teams often take DAYS to confirm if you've got a room. But at CODE, you can book your room in minutes.
2. Universities talk about guaranteed accommodation places... but that doesn't always mean uni-owned halls. So by booking direct with CODE you know who you're dealing with and can see reviews from students who already live with us. So, you can book with confidence.
3. In uni halls you might not get the room you want. But here, we’ll help you pick a specific studio to fit your budget and we could even show you your actual room on our virtual tours.
