The location: We are only 320m to De Montfort University and a 20-minute bus journey to the University of Leicester. We’re also close to the City Centre so everything is on your doorstep.

At CODE your rent includes water and internet, with broadband speeds of up to 500Mbps wired and unlimited uploads/downloads. 

• “Electricity Excluded” contracts – you will be billed monthly for the number of electricity units used and your daily standing charge. 
• “Electricity Package” contracts – your “package” means your daily standing charge and unit use for the duration of the contract up to a set amount (£720 for 48 week contracts and £765 for 51 week contracts). The majority of students find that with careful use this sees them through the year*. 
• *We want to clarify that we cannot predict your usage, but our utilities team will let you know what % of your package you have used each month. 

In simpler terms, rent includes water and internet; electricity is an additional choice.

At CODE our gym is free for all residents to use, includes state-of-the-art equipment, and is open daily from 6am - 11pm.  In addition to our gym we have a dance studio that you can book free of charge. 

Remember that you will also not need to pay for a gym membership if you are a CODE student, which is worth taking into consideration when comparing your accommodation options.  

CODE also offers fitness activities and wellbeing programmes as part of its wider student experience. 

CODE Leicester offers a wide range of social events to help you meet new people, your neighbours, and to have fun.

Here at CODE, we have study spaces for you to use if you want a focused environment away from your room. 

You will have a spacious work area which is ideal for those big assignments when you need to lay everything out, and you don’t have to worry about any distractions as you will have exclusive use of the room.  

Yes, unlike some student accommodations you are welcome to have friends and family over at any time at CODE. But please be mindful of your neighbours if you do have visitors over. Friends and family are also allowed to stay overnight.  

CODE Leicester has an outdoor area, and it’s great for relaxing outside and getting some fresh air. In our outdoor area you will find seating areas, BBQ stations, outdoor games, a herb garden, and outdoor Wi-Fi. Perfect for getting together with friends and enjoying the outdoors! 

Student safety and security is one of our top priorities at CODE. Only authorised people can access the complex thanks to our secure fob entry system, and we have CCTV around the site for your safety and security.  

Here at CODE Leicester we have a parcel service. If you order a parcel then it will be delivered to our parcel desk at the bottom of block D (in between the study areas and communal space) where our amazing staff will keep it safe until you collect it. As an added bonus it also means you don’t need to stay in to collect your parcel.
