Logging maintenance issues


We know that things can go wrong. That’s why our maintenance team are on hand to fix any issues you may experience. We also have a student portal so we can keep you in the loop with how long repairs will take. 


You can report maintenance issues easily using your student portal.

We have a 48 hour turn around for non-urgent issues but always aim to attend as quickly as we can.

Our maintenance team will give you 2 loud knocks and will enter after waiting if there is no answer. We will also leave you a card to show we have attended.

You will be able to check on the progress of the maintenance job via your student portal.


Although we try our best to complete your repair as quickly as possible, sometimes we need to order parts or the repair may need a specialist tool. If this is the case, we will contact you to explain.


All of our staff will take precautions when visiting your room, such as washing their hands before and after entering and wearing masks if you are in the room at the time.
We also want to keep our staff safe and so will ask if you are showing any symptoms of Covid-19 or have had a positive test before our maintenance team visit your room.
